Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
